I had an unbelievable time discovering Arizona. I owe it all to my amazing couple Grace and Scott, who made it possible for me to be there!
I arrived on Saturday morning. Aunt Winter picked me up from the airport and back to her house we went. I got settled in and we decided where to go! Sedona it was!! So we hopped in her little red convertible and hit the road. Not even half way there I made her stop, so I could take a picture…hee hee. But Winter was a willing participant!!
The sky was A-MAZING!
Once we got back on the road, we decided to take the longer route to Sedona by taking 69 to Arizona 80A through Jerome. Best idea ever!
Jerome is the cutest little city! Very artsy and hip. I would love to do an engagement session there. I even found a ton of really good spots. HINT HINT!
After the stop in Jerome we got back on the road to SEDONA!
We had just enough time before the sun set, to do a little hike on Schnebly Hill.
I was WAY excited!!
I was blown away. Winter taught me all about the area, and trying to soak it all in was hard. I was a little over whelmed.
When the sun started to go down… I still find it hard to find the words.
See for yourself!
After we climbed back down, we visited Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. There was so much to see! We had dinner and headed back home.
The next morning we went for a walk to the park by Winter’s house, ate some breakfast and took off to visit the Desert Botanical Garden. Grace and Scott’s engagement session was at the same place later that day and I wanted to check it out first!!
The humming birds were all over!
Grace and Scott’s engagement session was a big hit and I had a great time!! But more on them in a different post!
Monday my friend Jeff took off work, so he could keep me company!! WAHOO!
We decided to go back to Sedona, as he had never been there and I wanted to explore more!!!
We took a Pink Jeep tour…. it was lots of fun.
That is Jeff to my right and the new friends we made, they came to Sedona all the way from Tokyo!!
Once Jeff and I had lunch, we headed back to Phoenix to catch up with Winter for drinks!
The following day consisted of me relaxing. More relaxing than I had planned but I learned a important lesson – bike riding in 96 + degree weather not a good idea! I came back and passed out!
Winter came home from work and we went to dinner. After dinner to the airport I went!!
It was an amazing trip. Thank you!!!
