Duh, Winning.
Jill, Shawn, and I hung around the hotel until the afternoon, we had lunch and hit up the trade show. At one point I separated from them and went to do my own thing only to search for them for an hour. FINALLY I ran into Derek, who was with them. We were hungry and decided to go find some Sushi, but Derek decided to stay at the trade show seeing it was his last day of it.
We walked through MGM with no luck and wandered over to New York, New York. We found Chin Chin and had a really nice lunch. Shawn wanted to play Pai gow poker, so Jill and I went in search of a Gold Fish slot machine. My parents always told me in order to win big, you have to bet big. Penny machines are my favorite thing to play at the casino. I always play the maximum amount lines and coins. We found one and started playing, but after three spins we noticed it was $5.00 total bet each spin…. Too much for me, I like $3.20 and under, so we moved on. As we walked by a Monopoly Bonus City slot machine, Jill mentioned, she liked it so we stopped.
Jill and I sat down together and began to play. On my third spin I won a bonus round! I was so excited and so was Jill, she stopped playing her game to watch my bonus!
The next six minutes were a blur. According to Jill my facial expression was priceless. It felt unreal. I just kept winning free spins and with the free spins came winning lines! Then a 8x multiplier! Once my total got to $600 I started to cry! Jill grabbed my arm and just couldn’t believe it! All I could do is laugh!!!! I just kept winning! But at one point I was so scared to land on chance, because it was going to take it all away. I was freaking out! Jill said she will NEVER.EVER. forget my facial expressions. Once the bonus was over we had to wait ten minutes for an attendant to come get my info and PAY ME! My first thought was this is SO unreal, I need a picture of this!!!
Enter the WOW face, all for my mom.

I won $1,286.80 on a PENNY machine!!!
Of course I called Adam right way….he freaked out!
IT WAS SO UNREAL! All of it! We rushed to find Shawn….still playing that pikachu (pai gow) game. :] There were people at the table and I didn’t want the world to know I was carrying a lot of MONEY….so I whispered it to her and she silently freaked out and we headed back to the MGM.
On our way back to the room, we decided to come up with an amazing long story to tell Derek. AND THEN WE RAN INTO BOBBI AND MIKE!
For all you non-photographers, to Jill and I, Bobbi and Mike are our celebrity status photographers. Jill had been wanting all trip to run into them! We stopped to chat and decided that we love Bobbi even more than before.

After all that excitement, we made it back to the room and switched to being sad and angry at how our day played off, to fool Derek. We went on and on, until I started talking about how this slot machine started paying me a hundred dollars as I slapped them on table in front of Derek one by one. It was flawless. Shawn and Jill were amazing at playing along!!!! HA!
Derek was trying to play all sad because he felt like we had ditched him earlier in the day to go eat! :p I just started singing a random made up song about winning MONEY! Then tried to rub it in his face! HEE HEE.

Ed was still in class so as soon as he was out I called him and said he needed to get back to the room ASAP.
I hid in the bathroom acting like I was sick……here is how it all played out….pretty funny.
After we all settled down I decided to take everyone out to dinner with my winnings! We went to Paris! Since I was paying I made them eat by my ONE rule: Dessert First!

That dinner will always be unforgettable.
mustaches.party mode.worst lyric.best lyric.the wave.ed’s in.this vs this.dessert first.what is your favorite.

After dinner we just had to get one of those really big obnoxious frozen drinks….lets just say after that made a stop at the 80′s Canon party and headed back to the room where we laughed A LOT more.

I had an amazing time with some really great people! I think I will do a few posts about Vegas throughout the next few weeks! I made some great memories!!
Much love, Miranda
