Last month I met with Nikki of Nikki John Events to talk about coming together and creating a styled shoot. Personally I have done a few bridal ones but wanted to create one a little different. Nikki and I came up with a Halloween party theme and very quickly we pulled it all together…well mostly Nikki and the help of basement full of party decor! HA!
My little witches! So happy their parents allowed them to be apart of this shoot!
Here is a little blurb from Nikki:
My name is Nikki Johns, I was the stylist and coordinator for the Birthday party. Inspiration came to me from the movies Hocus Pocus and some Practical Magic with a girly twist. We chose the location Busse Park in Warren, MI. The park had multiple locations we were able to use. I chose to use the old tennis courts near an area of trees and the soccer field with ripped netting to make it a bit more eery. We wanted a touch of modern, whimsical, eery, vintage and girly. Wanted the head table to be purple, but of course needed the other halloween colors involved. So we incorporated the oranges, greens and blacks into the dessert and drink tables. They wanted to play witch, as if they were casting spells and making potions. Of course games are a must at a birthday party, so we threw in bobbing with apples and donuts on a string.
